Once I applied, I waited 3-weeks for HR to reach out. Once HR reached out, I was able to schedule the prescreening with HR roughly 1 week out; I am waiting to hear back for an in-person interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What I knew about the company, qualifications, why I am leaving my current role, etc.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wahl (Ramsgate, England) in Sept 2025
Interview
The interview process was not very different from the other companies. However either they're either using unprofessional recruiter (Diamond Recruitement) or its poor HR practices. I was asked to do the final interview on site (Ramsgate) while I'm full time employed with the same salary they've offered and live in central London. Hence it cost me 300 pounds to make that interview plus the time to prepare the case. I've asked them several times on advance to clarify if they cover the expenses to commute there and couldn't get any answer. Finally, I got a good feedback for the interview but they have decided that they don't need a Trade Marketing Manager but a Business Development Manager. After 5 email the agency replies that the interview expenses are not covered. So, you don't know what you want and you expect the people to waste their money and time on you? Very unethical and disrespectful to the candidates
It was quite a long wait to get in there but once I got in the interview process was very clear and organized period I felt like everyone was making sure that no time was wasted. The questions where all your standard theoreticals and a few personal questions which I thought was nice.
