I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Waitrose (Sheffield, England) in Jan 2024
Interview
Great! Some questions were very broad which made it hard to answer but over all very welcoming and made the interview less nerve racking. They didn’t really send to much info about were to meet them but the Waitrose in Sheffield had a welcome desk so was able to find out all the details when I got there.

Question 1
How would I adapt the way I talk if I was talking to a diverse group.
Pretty easy, just asked about experience and strengths. Then did a group exercise where we had to prioritise tasks. Then we had to talk about why we chose certain things and what impact it had on sales
The recruitment process comprised of one online task, one round of in-person group tasks (based on real life scenarios) and then a one to one interview. The online task, in-person group tasks and one to one questions were straightforward.
Short initial interview with typical questions asked during any other behavioural interview. Might have been an initial online screening asking about how you are in the workplace and your personality.
Hiring manager was very friendly and patient.
