I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walden University (Miami, FL) in Apr 2026
Interview
Applied on linked in, received an email 1 minute later inviting me to move on to the next step in the process: an AI chatbot interview. The email said it would only take a few minutes so I figured maybe it's more logistics oriented, which was annoying but understandable. When I logged in to the platform, I realized this was their first round interview process that I would have expected to complete with an actual human. The questions were asking me to describe situations at work and how I responded, etc. I can't get my head around how a "university" justifies using AI to interview potential candidates instead of taking 10 minutes to do a quick phone call.

Interview
First call was very nice. Just a get to know you and your background type of call with a couple “tell me about a time” questions. It definitely wasn’t 30 minutes like the scheduler said.
