Screening and multiple virtual interviews. Multiple different departments to see where fit if there are multiple positions open. It was casual but focused on the roles duties to know if you are capable.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walgreens (Deerfield, IL) in Dec 2017
Interview
It was a phone interview. The process was really easy and really informative. I would definitely come up with good reasons as to why you chose Walgreens as an employer of choice for the position. Also, if you are from out of state, you need to communicate your desire to relocate so they can see you as a valuable candidate.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Walgreens in Nov 2017
Interview
I completed a phone screening that lasted about 7 minutes. The questions were very standard and I was told she would forward my information along. Over a month later, I received an email from a different recruiter asking me to come in two days later at a specific time for an interview, or to email her with my availability if that didn't work. I emailed her asking if I could reschedule and she never responded. I emailed twice and called twice leaving messages, and never heard back. I received an email a week later saying the position had been filled. I did email the head of Talent Acquisition and he did follow-up and apologize. They ended up inviting me for a new interview, but I had already accepted a new position.
