Recruiter contacted me. Hackerrank had 2 easy SQL, 2 hard SQL, 2 Python (medium). Then was greenlit to an interview with company internal recruiter.
The hackerrank was diffiicult. It was 2 hours and 6 questions. The easy SQL were very easy, like basic select, where, etc. The hard SQL tested more advanced concepts like joining on multiple conditions, and using coalesces to filter data. You also needed to be precise in your queries so that artifacts like commas and whitespaces wouldn't cause you to report incorrect values. The python questions really just tested your knowledge of Python.
The one thing I didn't like is that it was a very technically heavy exam, and the recruiter said it was for a technical role, but the person at Walleye said they needed this person to also be doing operations related tasks like performing locate requests on stocks.
