Applied on LinkedIn, the recruiter and I had an intro call and scheduled a panel call for a week out. The recruiter didn’t keep in touch at all, didn’t even tell me the interview would be a panel with 5 people. I met with 5 people on a team, the questions were mostly situational. Tell me a time you had a conflict, how do I find this in a system, etc. I had more experience than the team did with this technology - and their questions were pretty generic & easy. The team was a bit awkward but I looked past it. A few people literally didn’t say anything. 2 of the 5 didn’t even have their camera on during the Zoom call which was a red flag. A few hours after the interview, I received a rejection from the recruiter saying they were going in a different direction. I was a bit surprised as I’d thought I performed well during the interview. I politely asked for feedback & closure - but the recruiter ignored my request. Sort of glad I was rejected in hindsight, as the team seemed off/odd and I don’t think it would have been a challenging opportunity. Good luck to all.
