1 hour Zoom interview with tech lead. He gave a brief introduction about himself and then asked me to talk about my recent experience. Then I was given coding exercises in Hackerrank. My code was correct but I didn't know the time complexity for the functions. Afterwards I was told they weren't moving forward. They didn't feel the technical bar was met and alluded that I was expected to communicate more with the interviewer while I was coding. I took that to mean you're expected to work through the code in your head while explaining it to the interviewer at the same time. The interviewer was happy to answer questions but that means you need to think about how the question you're going to ask will be judged along with everything else you're doing.
