      Marketing Associate Interview

      30 Apr 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Ware Malcomb in Apr 2015

      Interview

I agree with what the last person said. The interview process is ridiculous for just an associate position. I always had to wait on everyone for at least 10-15 minutes. It really shows how disorganized the company is and it is a reflection on all the negative reviews of why people had said they quit on the job review on glass door. I first had an interview with the marketing coordinator. She had told me that I would have a second interview with the CMO with a writing test. A week later, I came and did that. After the interview, the CMO said that she is going to discuss with her team and get back to me. The following week, I was contacted by the marketing director asking me to come in and talk more about the position. Yes, I wasted my time with 3 interviews. What irritated me the most was the redundant questions being asked over and over again. To me, it shows the lack of communication and trust internally with their team.

      Easy interview

      Interview

Came to interview 30 minutes early and the Director of Marketing and CMO were 15 minutes late. Most of the questions they asked were directly from my resume in which I doubt they hardly read. Kept expressing joy with my background and what I have accomplished. Seemed disinterested and spent 70% of the interview describing the job and the company, which I had done research on before I even applied. I asked about the high turnover rate and they explained it was because the job market got better, but I saw that as a terrible excuse. Said they were happy after the interview and would call to let me know either way a few days later; that was months ago. Horrible interview process and really shows a lot about the company, plus the people who run it. Turns out the truths found through the interviews are true and it is definitely not worth ones time. For such a big company, I honestly expected a lot better.
