I applied online. I interviewed at Warp Development
Interview
At first, it seemed efficient and there was good communication. After completing the assessments, there was no response from them. They don't even tell you if you got the post or not. The assessments were easy but again, there isn't any feedback on this. The recruitment process is just disorganized and there is poor communication overall.
I applied through other source. The process took 12 months. I interviewed at Warp Development (Stellenbosch) in Feb 2017
Interview
Probably the most disorganized process I have ever seen, delays and excuses attached to every step of the process.
It was a good 10 months between initial application and the actual call for the interview, which went well. At the end I was told i would get my assessment later that day (Thursday), which never happened, I had to follow up the following Monday and was told I would get it soon, which turns out was over a week later (the following Tuesday).
I said I would get it back to them in 2 days, which I did and was then was quite surprised to get a response later that day, from the lead, saying I would need to come back for a follow up and they would get back to me first thing Monday morning at the latest, once the owner returns.
I followed up again the Wednesday as Monday had come and gone. That email never got a response, but 2 weeks later I got an email from the owner saying he was back and needed to discuss things with the lead and they will get back to me, before this point I had stopped caring so I never replied.
2 or 3 Days later I got a mail asking when we could have a quick chat to discuss the offer, to which I replied that I could take a call at any time, that was 2 weeks ago, I have since accepted an offer elsewhere.
I quite shudder to think how projects are run...
