Washington State Department of Transportation Transportation Engineer I interview questions

The whole process was online. Very easy and friendly interview panel. I was interviewed in Shoreline and Lacey offices. Received offers from both offices within few days. 10 different questions and only Lacey requires the writing assessment. I feel confident afterwards. All my references have been called and checked.

A panel of 4 took turns asking questions from a long list of questions, which they do let you briefly read before starting the interview. They do try to make it more like a conversation and provided a lot of support when voicing my personal concerns. Overall, it was a typical interview process and everyone was friendly.
