I interviewed at Watson Farley & Williams (London, England)
Interview
Had a lot of trouble with connection issues on their end and I felt that hindered my overall experience and opportunity to apply for the role as the interview kept getting cut off and I was offered no other opportunity to reinterview because of this.
I applied online. I interviewed at Watson Farley & Williams (London, England) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very poor experience overall. I was transparent about my visa status during the initial recruiter screening and was rejected shortly after. I was then contacted again and told the company wanted to proceed with me on a contract basis instead, and asked if I was still interested.
I completed two further rounds, including a final in-person interview in London, and then heard nothing for over a month. After following up, I was told they had gone with someone for a permanent role instead.
The process felt disorganised, inconsistent, and disrespectful of candidates’ time. Changing the role structure midway and then failing to communicate any outcome after a final interview reflects poorly on the hiring process.
