The interview at Wazoku was extremely enjoyable starting with a friendly initial telephone interview / chat that explained the role and company culture and gave me a chance to explain my current situation, previous experience and the motivation behind my application. The next stage involved an online aptitude test that was challenging yet interesting. I was then invited to the office for an in-person interview (which was appreciated after endless video interviews!) with the manager for the role I had applied to. The interview was casual which meant I immediately felt at ease. Our conversation focused on all of the usual areas but what I really found helpful was the manager's candid approach when explaining their requirements and the way that they like to work. During the in-person interview there was a technical assessment as well as a workspace walkaround that allowed me to actively demonstrate my skills rather than just talking about them! Overall, the interview process was smooth, easy to understand and I was communicated with at all stages.
