I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Webexpenses (Witney, England) in Jul 2025
Interview
4 stage interview process that was not transparent from the outset.
Stage 1: HR screening via phone
Stage 2: Remote interview via Teams with 2 x managers
Stage 3: Face to Face interview with 3 senior board leadership members and a presentation
Stage 4: 1 x "The Apprentice" style interrogation biased surprise interview by the Fractional CMO. This was the worst interview that I have experienced in recent years.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why do you want the job?
The biased questions and statements from the fractional CMO were:
1. "You have worked for a large company and a small company so you are something in-between" !
2. "You do sales enablement only" . I said to that person no I do more than that as I had told them many times during the interview but they decided on telling me what my skillset, even though I have over 20 years experience in marketing.
3. Questioning where I exactly live and I felt they were judging me on my postcode.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Webexpenses (Banglor) in Aug 2025
Interview
Interview process was smooth and easy. I was invited for the interview and I went to the interview and asked with reception and they guided me to the interviewer and we talked around like 30 minutes and it was so good I learned many things from the interviewer and it was really thoughtful I like the way they have interviewed.

Question 1
The question was like why do I have selected this role SDET
Simple process. Interview via phone, then on teams and if successful a final interview in person. They also provided great feedback at the end, even if you don’t get the offer.
