easy, what-if scenarios, availability. it is a lot of basic interview questions. they want to know if you are good with a team and not violent or easily angered. a lot of highschoolers apply to this job so it is very basic.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Wegmans Food Markets (Canandaigua, NY) in Mar 2011
Interview
Interviewed on the phone with an in-store HR rep and then came in for an on-site interview with a mid-level manager. Interview went smoothly and the manager was pleased. I was 15 years old at the time, and I felt that she asked me appropriately challenging questions given that fact. Process was not too intimidating, but intimidating enough that I prepared myself. It was a great learning experience for someone in high school getting ready for college applications and, later on, applications for post-college employment.
