I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Welocalize (London, England) in Feb 2025
Interview
I applied for the Business Development Manager role in London and was shortlisted. HR introduced me to a fantastic lady who was eager to learn about my experience and the contributions I could make to the company. The second meeting with her went extremely well. I was then moved to the third stage, where I had to speak with a senior manager who seemed uninterested in my background or why I wanted to join Welocalize. His attitude felt rushed, and it was clear from the beginning that he was looking forward to the end of the meeting. He appeared utterly bored. Apart from the standard interview questions, he mentioned how tough the market was and suggested that a salesperson wouldn’t be able to do much. Shocking! If that was their mindset, why were they even looking for a salesperson in the first place? HR later came back to me with a generic response, saying they decided to move forward with another candidate whose skills were a closer match for the requirements of the Localization BDD role.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Welocalize in Oct 2017
Interview
Set up through outside recruiter. Had 2 phone interviews, then onsite with 4 members (not simultaneously) of upper management. The interviewers had hot priorities, so the actual interviews went quickly and they seemed distracted - just went through the motions.
Offer made and accepted the following week.
