Interview
Applied for a senior sales/business development role. The initial conversations seemed promising, but the corporate pipeline is highly disorganized. The hiring team uses the interview process to extract high-level strategic growth plans and regional market blueprints from senior candidates. After dragging me through intensive strategic evaluations and mining my intellectual property, management went completely silent and ghosted.
This transactional approach shows a severe lack of maturity and professional courtesy. It is incredibly cheap behavior for a brand trying to position itself at the top of the design industry. If you are a high-performing executive, protect your time and your strategies—they will gladly take your ideas but lack the respect to follow through.

Question 1
As part of the interview process, management requested that I drive completely out of state to visit another one of their showrooms entirely at my own expense. They required me to compile a comprehensive, deep-dive dossier detailing exactly what structural, operational, and sales strategy changes I would implement to turn the showroom around.
It’s a very drawn out process. The skill test could have been narrowed down to 3 photo/painting edits instead of the 10. There’s also a bizarre SAT-like test they make you do during this stage as well.
The Tampa in-person interview lasted about 6 hours, and I was never given any compensation for traveling. Even this far into the interview, I was never told what I could expect in terms of salary and benefits. Everyone seemed to be walking on eggshells in regards the CEO. When I met him, he was incredibly dismissive and was checking his phone the entire time. After a month of interviews, emails, and tests, I was ghosted.
Pretty easy but with multiple rounds, they will lie to you about culture and turnover, initial screener, video interview then in person where they will fly you in. Questions are basic and behavioral
