I applied online. I interviewed at Western Governors University (Cincinnati, OH) in May 2019
Interview
The interview process was a terrible experience with the program manager. The manager seemed busy or distracted having two computers to manage and take notes during the interview.

I applied online. I interviewed at Western Governors University (Salt Lake City, UT)
Interview
Once I applied, it took 2 weeks to get an email from them saying they wanted to interview me. I scheduled my interview online through their system. There were a lot of dates/times available. My first interview was primarily informational. Questions like: What is your background, what do you know about WGU, do you have this internet speed, etc. There were no questions related to my qualifications for the job in this interview. It was a brief 30 minute phone call with a recruiter. I asked the recruiter for information on their benefits, and he said he would email them. Even after sending a 'thank you' email, I never received anything from him. After 2 weeks, I received another email saying they want to do a video interview. I scheduled it again through their online system and downloaded the software. The day of the interview I waited by my laptop in the software for my interview, only to have the same recruiter call me on my phone and give me the EXACT same interview I had 2 weeks prior. Same questions, etc. It was awkward and I mentioned to him that I already had spoken to him. 2 weeks later, I got an automatic rejection email. I couldn't believe it. So unprofessional and incredibly disappointing. The HR office really needs to evaluate their current hiring process to ensure they are not duplicating interviews and making mistakes like this.
