The process is pretty straightforward:
- HR interview
- Manager interview
- Coding interview
- Nah (There are more but I was thrown out here )
I think the company has a decent path to the bright future. Sounds like the process are still being figured out. For my (coding) interview, the actual process is different than what was described in the scheduling email, so bewared.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
It is a leetcode question that involves graph building. The problem is about medium difficulty. What made it very hard was that they wanted to make the problem sound practical by giving you a "real-world-like" scenario where you must figure out the leetcode requirement yourself.
The interviewer doesn't provide much additional information/confirmation after I summarized my understanding, so it took me a while to realize that I had gone in the wrong direction.
Very kind, efficient. Everyone was very communicative ands the whole process went smoothly. Very open to schedule as needed for the many rounds to go through. Would recommend trying to apply.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Whatnot (Dublin, Dublin)
Interview
It had 4 rounds - Tech screen, Coding, System Design, Product Sense.
They were standard except for product sense round, which was discussion.
The interviewers were kind, and supportive. Overall good experience.

Question 1
How would you onboard new customers on our app? think like a PM
The interview process at Whatnot started with a recruiter phone screen to discuss my background and interest in the platform. After that, I had a technical screen focused on algorithmic problem-solving and data structures.
