I applied online. I interviewed at Wheelhouse DMG in Apr 2026
Interview
There were four rounds total, starting with an initial interview with the team director, the hiring manager, a panel presentation interview, and then one with the CEO. Before almost all of the interviews, there was also a sort of corporate personality test they asked me to do. Everyone I talked to was friendly and seemed to like their jobs, and up until the end communication was frequent and prompt with consistent updates.
The panel presentation was a bit difficult because the prompt was a bit broad but I think made that way so you could tailor it to your skills.
My only negative experience was at the very end - because I had received almost weekly updates through the process, it was very noticeable when a week and a half after my final interview when I had not heard anything. I ended up sending a follow up email and was told then that I did not receive the job, instead of a rejection email coming on its own. I am not sure if or when I would have received one if I had not followed up, and did not receive any feedback when I asked about it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How did the results of these personality tests resonate with you?
Thank you for the time you invested in our process and for sharing this feedback. We're glad the experience was positive overall — but you're right that you deserved a timely and proactive rejection, not one you had to inquire about. We appreciate your graciousness in sharing this so honestly — it helps us improve our processes.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wheelhouse DMG in Apr 2025
Interview
I enjoyed the interview process and thought I was perfect for the position, given the feedback from managers until the presentation group interview, when it fell off. I was tasked to do a presentation on a product which I spent days preparing and revising. During the interview, which was billed as a collaborative interview, there was little collaboration or discussion, which left me feeling like I had done something wrong. They did not task me to create a PowerPoint, but I was open to it, and I like to put in 110%. I gave my presentation, the group feedback was silent, and there was little to no discussion. After the presentation, I answered several questions about experience and culture-related issues and asked a few of my own. The interview ended rather abruptly, and I was left disheartened, as what I thought was the end to my search was just another bump in the road. I hope they may consider me for another position, as I know I have the experience and I'm a cultural fit. I have reached out for feedback but have yet to hear anything back, and did not receive a response to my thanks after the interview. Upsetting to say the least.
Many steps in the interview process and wasted a lot of time with assignments. At least 4 - 5 rounds including an interview with the CEO who was very biased.
