I am personally very sorry if anyone has a bad experience in their evaluation process with Whitespectre. Treating people professionally and with respect is something that we hold in high regard - whether or not they end up as team members.
It’s worth noting that we have very high standards in our evaluation and only make offers to ~2% of the people who enter our process.
I believe in transparency and also understand that it can sometimes be hard to hear our feedback at the end of the process. If we believe that someone has potential, but needs more growth and personal development to reach the level we deem “Senior”, we will give that feedback, and, I believe in your case may discuss the opportunity to join the team at a “Mid” level with a set of steps/goals to reach “Senior”.
It sounds like you didn’t appreciate our straightforwardness and were offended.
