I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Deerfield, IL) in Feb 2013
Interview
Super easy! Went to the WholeFoods site and filled out their online application. Was called in within a week of applying. Had a phone screening first. Asked about my customer service experience, food service and grocery store experience. Asked what my reasons were for applying. I said I'm a people person with great customer service & 2 years experience working directly with the public. This is no necessary however as they will train you. They want to know you are hard working, a Team Player & like working with the public.
I had an in person interview two days after the phone interview. Some of the same questions were explored. I was offered a position on the spot.

Question 1
How would you handle a disgruntled customer? How would you resolve an issue with a co-worker?
It was a pretty easy process. I applied online, and I believe I got an interview a week or 2 after. I got interviewed by the ATL and the TL, and they asked me questions about my experience.
Fairly easy. Just asked about schedule (what days you can work and if you have any vacations coming up) and if there was any prior experience. Didn’t ask very many difficult questions

Question 1
What days are you available to work? Any vacations coming up?
VERY quick. It was a phone interview and the manager just asked "Why Whole Foods?" I had an answer prepared and he almost cut me off after my first sentence. I don't think he actually cared about my answer.
