I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Newtown, PA) in Apr 2021
Interview
Interviewers seemed unprepared because the bakery manager decided not to conduct the interview herself and left me waiting for an hour in the cafe afterwards to speak to a higher up manager about start date and salary and he never showed up either even though I was given the offer on the spot. I got a call a while later from him but it felt like they didn't mind wasting people's time and I didn't want to sign myself up to work under people like that.
It was a pretty easy process. I applied online, and I believe I got an interview a week or 2 after. I got interviewed by the ATL and the TL, and they asked me questions about my experience.
Fairly easy. Just asked about schedule (what days you can work and if you have any vacations coming up) and if there was any prior experience. Didn’t ask very many difficult questions
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What days are you available to work? Any vacations coming up?
VERY quick. It was a phone interview and the manager just asked "Why Whole Foods?" I had an answer prepared and he almost cut me off after my first sentence. I don't think he actually cared about my answer.
