Applying online wasn't getting me interviews. I watched their website to see which schools were hiring, then contacted the school directly to ask about shadowing their staff for half a day. I was able to observe in multiple classrooms, connecting with several teachers who were on the leadership team and recommended to the principal that they interview me.
