I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Williams International (Pontiac, MI) in Sept 2022
Interview
First was emailed to set up a phone screen interview, where I talked about my education, relevant projects, skills, and experience.
I was then invited to an in-person interview onsite in Pontiac. I met with an HR representative and two engineers, then got a brief tour of the first floor. The in-person interview was about 2-3 hours long. During the in-person interview, I went more in-depth about my projects in college and coursework.
I applied online. I interviewed at Williams International (Pontiac, MI) in Nov 2025
Interview
A phone screen and then a two hour long interview with 3 engineers. Alternate option was to go in person. Luckily an HR person meets with you first and explains the benefits beforehand. Hearing the benefits offered at the beginning (really bad compared to the majority of engineering companies), I became mentally checked out of the whole interview process. Two of the engineers that interviewed me seemed like they did not want to be there. Pretty bad interview experience and not worth it for what they were offering.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Williams International (Pontiac, MI) in Jul 2023
Interview
Very simple interview process. They called me after I applied, asked some basic questions about experience then invited me out to their facility to tour. They sat me down with a team lead, they asked me some questions about my experience in college, then they gave me a tour of the entire Pontiac facility. Got an offer around 2 weeks later.
