I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Wittenberg University in Apr 2024
Interview
The interview went over by 15 minutes because they had too many questions. They also asked me questions that I thought were irrelevant. When I asked them how they onboard their new employees they genuinely didn't understand the question. Once I clarified, they said that the new person would have to "hit the ground running." meaning there is no training for the role. After having a phone interview, and panel interview, I was ghosted. There were many red flags throughout the whole process, I'd proceed with caution if you are offered a position at the university.

Question 1
What experience do you have with High School aged students?
First met with a recruiter who worked diligently to make sure I was prepared and ready for the interview with the hiring manager and HR. The majority of the process was done via teams until the final interview. The President of the university likes to meet and sign offer letters of the incoming staff and faculty which is a wonderful gesture in my opinion.

Question 1
What was the last book you read and what did you think of it?
I interviewed at Wittenberg University (Springfield, OH)
Interview
Informational interview. Not for a current opening. I was surprised by the reference to the department being good because of the young age of the professors. It felt like age discrimination.
