The process took 4 months from the first initial contact via email from the HR. A lengthy questionnaire was sent to me by the corporate recruiter. A series of question such as What is your time frame for starting a new opportunity (available start date)? Specifically, why are you seeking new employment? Why are you interested in leaving your current job? Why did you leave your previous job? Describe your current responsibilities including a typical workday and workweek. Is the pace of work too fast or too slow? Describe and summarize your skills in the following categories etc... After sending it took about almost a month to get them to acknowledge my feedback.The HR gave the impression that they were too busy as the reason for the delay.
After the first phone interview with the recruiter, I had a phone interview the hiring manager and a presentation via phone(Skype did not work because " Skype at Cree is down"). Initially, the intent was to have a presentation via Skype unfortunately the HR could not get Skype up and running on their hand. After many attempts and of delays, the hiring manager conducted the a presentation over the phone.
