They make the process extremely smooth and comfortable. In my case, I was relocating to a new city and they made remote interviewing painless -- they were very accommodating. Sets the subject at ease.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They mainly ask you to elaborate on your professional background. It felt very conversational, I believe to get a sense of whether the interviewee would be a good cultural fit.
At home editing test followed by two in-person interviews. Offer was made a week or two after the second interview. Overall an average interview experience for an entry level position.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wolters Kluwer (Waltham, MA) in Jan 2016
Interview
They had us come in for a group interview. Interviews were set up after candidates successfully completed an online editing test. The other five candidates and I (all recent college grads) arrived fifteen minutes early. They had us sit in a room together making small talk for half an hour - the interview started fifteen minutes late. Once it started we sat through a powerpoint presentation and had to fill out worksheets like we were students. Then we were individually interviewed by two panels of three employees. The interview questions were easy if not irrelevant, but overall it was a convoluted process. After the interview the other candidates and I all joked that it felt like we were on a game show.
