I applied online. I interviewed at Wood (Calgary, AB) in Feb 2023
Interview
30 Min Technical interview. No behavioural questions. Questions were related to line sizing, pump sizing, PSVs and heat exchangers. Overall good experience. Advice to master the resume really well. Also, be ready to get asked about final year project.
Interviewd for Process EIT role based in Edmonton. The interview was fairly difficult for a graduate. A senior process engineer based in Calgary conducts virtual interviews. She shoots questions related to hydraulics and heat/mass balance. She was not looking for knowledge in these areas but solid experience. These areas are not even something juniors are entrusted to handle in a company. No behavioural questions were asked. Felt like they didn't care about company/team fit. I've interacted with several peers who had the same experience. It's totally unfair given job description asks for graduates with no experience, but she expects you to know everything
