I had a phone call with a recruiter for a Marketing Manager role in Folsom, CA. She was about 5 minutes late to the call but we still talked for the 15 minutes we planned to. At the end of the call she said I checked off all her boxes and was excited to move me forward for an interview with the next person in their hiring process. The call was on a Friday and she said she would like me to meet with her on Monday or Tuesday the very next week via Zoom. We discussed salary and everything felt positive. I gave her my availability and she told me to feel free to reach out if any additional questions came up and that I should be getting a meeting invite later that day for the next round. I followed up and thanked her and she never replied or acknowledged my message. I didn’t get an invitation to the next meeting interview and I sent two additional emails expressing my continued interest over the next few weeks and never heard back. 👻
