I interviewed for the MNA Fellowship ET Consultant role through a virtual panel interview process. The interview process was professional and structured. The panel asked a combination of behavioral, experience-based, and role-related questions, with attention to communication skills, relevant experience, and motivation for joining the World Bank Group. Candidates should be prepared to discuss their background clearly, provide concrete examples of past work, and explain how their experience aligns with the role and broader development objectives. The interview format required concise and thoughtful responses, particularly when discussing prior projects and collaboration with diverse stakeholders. One challenge was the highly competitive nature of the process and limited post-interview feedback. While I was not selected, the experience provided useful insight into the organization’s expectations and interview style.

Standard interview process consisting of an initial recruiter screening followed by a more in-depth discussion focused on consulting experience, stakeholder management, transformation delivery, communication style, and approach to working within complex organizational and client environments.

Two steps. It took about a month to hearing back for the first interview. It was a panel interview and then second/last interview with the supervisor a week after the first interview.
