Interview
I applied for the role in November 2023, received an invitation to take a 3.5 hour writing test in January 2024, was called for a panel interview in February 2024. During the interview they said I would hear back within 2-3 weeks (I thought that unlikely). I was happy to learn they called my references in March 2024....and then I was ghosted until July 2024 without a single piece of communication. The hiring manager was not allowed to give me any information, and the HR specialists did not respond to my (polite) requests for updates of the timeline. After my third request in July for an updated timeline, they did not respond to my email personally but sent off a form rejection letter. It was quite unprofessional.

Question 1
The writing test was cleverly done and related to current events. The prompt focused writing a speech for the Regional Director related to the WHO support of the health crisis in Ukraine during the war. There was also a prompt (weighted less heavily than the speech) about social media for the Regional Director.
