      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Wpromote, LLC (Los Angeles, CA) in Jun 2016

      Interview

I applied online, and then set up a phone interview with the lead front end developer. She went over my resume, asked about my past experience and what technologies I was familiar with. We chatted about the job and the company as well. Got a call from HR later that day and was offered a position.

The technical lead sent me a link and asked me to write code for a particular algorithmic problem within 15 minutes (Screen Sharing was enabled) .It was very awkward! The interviewer asked me to rate myself in the technologies that I listed on my resume. The ratings were listed as following. 1. Beginner 2. Intermediate 3. Expert ( One can teach courses) 4. Contributor of that particular technology. How can one expect a fresh out of school entry level person to rate themselves as "Contributor" ?? The interviewer needs
