The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wypoon Technologies (Rotterdam) in Apr 2024
Interview
First Interview: Interviewer was very friendly and asked about my past experience. We talked about relocation and their way of working.
For the next step they sent online tests for every specialty I have. Tests were full of very detailed multi select questions. Level of detail was unnecessary in my opinion.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wypoon Technologies (Amsterdam) in Mar 2025
Interview
Video CV screening with recruiter. They seem little engaged giving me the sensation this was kinda burochratic step.
Then I got an online test for SpringBoot and Java 17 which was horrible. Many of the questions were poorly worded and hard to understand as if they were automatically translated from another language. Then the topics covered a bunch of minutia that can be easily googled on a day to day basis like what's the signature for XYZ method and what does the parameter foo is used for.
I could've Google the of course but I didn't see the point.
Also it is multiple options but if you skip you get points discounted, if you get it wrong points discounted, you can go back and overall a bad way to assess knowledge. Not to mention that some options were technically correct but because of the way they were translated they were strictly speaking wrong (I mean grammatically wrong).
Sigh, of course I had a failing score.
If you really want to pass this, have your phone or another computer ready and Google the question but I wouldn't bother (I certainly didn't)
