Human Resources Business Partner Lead (HRBP Lead) Interview

      22 Jan 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at X (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2021

      Interview

The recruiter was very engaging and great to talk to. The hiring manager was 10 minutes late to our call and did not seem at all interested in the interview. At the end, I asked for her email address, as I often do at the end of interviews, to send a thank you. She said she was too busy and didn't want to clutter her inbox. That reinforced the "ick" feeling I had during the interview and thankful to have dodged that bullet. I understand you work for a globally recognized brand and have many people who want to join the organization. But her level of professionalism is questionable and doesn't incite excitement to work on that team.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Asked a lot of questions about my experience working with difficult people. These types of questions do not excite candidates.
