I applied via a recruiter, and I was informed that they are ONLY looking for native English-speaking candidates, despite many candidates like myself having a C1 level of English, who can comfortably work in English and have industry-relevant tier-1 experience.
This type of discrimination is very disappointing to see from a leading bank in our industry; I never expected this.

Interview
The interview process was somewhat lengthy but very enjoyable. My initial/discovery call was very detailed and professional, and gave me a clear sense of what Xapo Bank is all about and how I could potentially fit into life there. Everyone who interviewed me was fantastic and clearly very passionate about Xapo Bank, Bitcoin, and their profession. So it was very positive for me.
