Asked several questions about myself. Then asked few technical questions about software engineering (types of algorithm, polymorphism, etc). Asked what kind of tools I have used in the past to develop applications. Then asked some soft skill questions. Very friendly interviewer. Overall, the interview had half technical and half personality + soft skill questions.

Take home challenge which was pretty easy to do. Just had to create a component using some basic api and display it on the page. No live coding required, just hr interview, then talk with the technical team, then take home challenge.

I first had a phone interview with the software development manager and then an interview at the XE office located in Newmarket. I met with the development manager and one of the senior developers. Most of the questions were technical.
