The recruiter and hiring manager were friendly and informative.
The Bad:
- Extensive Case Study: The assigned case study was overly time-consuming, requiring a week of dedicated work. While I understand the desire to thoroughly assess a candidate, there are more efficient methods to evaluate their skills.
- Disengaged Interviewer: One of the panel interviewers displayed a lack of engagement during the presentation, frequently working on a laptop. Additionally, the interview was abruptly ended without allowing all panelists to contribute.
Advice to Interviewers:
- Consider alternative methods to assess candidates' skills, such as shorter case studies or technical assessments.
- Ensure that all interviewers are fully engaged and respectful of the candidate's time.
Overall, the experience was frustrating and left a negative impression of the company's interview process.
