Overall, the interviewers were respectful and friendly, and the process moved relatively quickly. The recruiter and hiring manager were communicative, and the conversations were pleasant.
That said, the technical evaluation felt much lighter than expected for a Senior Software Engineer role. The onsite consisted mostly of basic Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and behavioral questions, with no coding exercise or system design discussion despite those being mentioned earlier in the process. The interview also felt somewhat unstructured, with interviewers asking overlapping questions.
The engineering team appears to value stability and long-term employees, which may appeal to candidates looking for a mature environment. However, candidates expecting a rigorous senior-level technical interview focused on architecture, distributed systems, or coding challenges may find the process surprisingly basic.
