Thoroughly enjoyed this process, and a huge part of that was due to having an excellent hiring process and the company being represented by a passionate in-house talent acquisition employee.
There was an initial phone call to discuss the opportunity, followed by a more in depth conversation about why I want to join Xigen and my motivations behind my decision, ultimately I think this was to determine if I would be a good cultural fit and if I would gel well with the team.
The second stage was a video call with two interviewers, which felt more like a relaxed conversation about my technical knowledge, and things I’ve worked on that I’m proud of.
I got a real sense that both interviewers were very knowledgable technically, and I felt that I could genuinely learn a lot from the company!
The offer swiftly followed, and I feel that we all got on very well so I was thrilled to accept.
