I applied through other source. I interviewed at Y Scouts (Scottsdale, AZ) in Dec 2018
Interview
One phone interview, one in person interview, then a take home assignment, then an interview with the CEO. Never received any feedback on my assignment (positive or negative).
I was told I was supposed to present the assignment to the team but that never happened due to a scheduling conflict with their team. Instead, I met directly with the CEO and was told that he wanted me to come back the following week to see how they operated and was also told that this could be a good move for me. I left the interview feeling positive.
Followed up after the interview with the CEO with an appropriate thank you, and then two days after that inquiring on the status of things.
I was contacted at the end of the week via an email explaining to me that they decided not to hire for the role and that they were changing directions, which left me confused.
I view this as unfortunate, as this was a very exciting opportunity for me to pursue and felt that the company has lots of potential.

Question 1
Most of the interviews were flowing conversations. There was a take home assignment given that took about 3-4 hours that was assigned to me after the initial phone screening and first in person interview

Very engaging. You could tell that they were listening and interested in what you were saying. They interacted, asked questions and were very comfortable throughout the exchange.
I interviewed at Y Scouts (Scottsdale, AZ) in May 2017
Interview
The interview process began after I researched the company and had an understanding of what to expect. The first interview was very informative and helpful. I was able to gauge exactly what kind of culture Y Scouts has internally, and how they practice their values and purpose daily. One thing that stood out to me, was that I was confident that every person on their team lives by their values, even when nobody is watching. It was really based around making sure I was a good fit. I was introduced to multiple team members and it was really interesting hearing a little about everyone. They were extremely welcoming and excited to see that I was interested in working for them. The team was very flexible and accommodating to my schedule with interviews which was amazing. Not many companies would do that for a potential candidate. It truly made Y Scouts stand out to me. Overall, the process was exciting and it made me really feel like I mattered to them. The communication was transparent throughout, and I was never left wondering what would happen next. I absolutely loved the whole process, and I left hoping to get a positive call back each time.
