I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at YMU Group
Interview
Process took longer than expected; time between interviews took a long time, and it was unclear if there was interest in my candidacy or not. More transparency and understanding of the process would have beneficial from the initial conversation.
One virtual interview with the direct manager and a follow-up task, after which I was given the news of whether or not I was successful. The interviewer was lovely and all went smoothly.
I applied online. I interviewed at YMU Group (London, England) in May 2022
Interview
I applied directly through their website and had two face-to-face interviews. It seems like a really exciting place to work, the staff interviewing me (manager and head of department) were great to speak to, friendly and welcoming and we had in-depth conversations. I was disappointed not to hear back in any capacity - I deduced of course that I hadn't got the job - but I actively emailed more than once and called the reception to ask from a simple response from HR about whether I'd been successful. Months passed. After two in-person interviews I'd expect ideally some feedback, but to not get even a Yes/No is very disappointing. It's a shame as it is still a company I'd aspire to work at but it made me think twice about applying for another role that came up of a similar level.
