Recruiter reached out to me on linkedin, had a screening call, then interview with hiring manager 1 week later. Hiring manager asked me standard behavioural questions but nothing related to my relevant skills or what was expected in the job. Also hiring manager seemed to have lost interest in the interview halfway through. I asked a few questions about the value this role would bring to the team but hiring manager could not answer directly. Later heard from recruiter that they were impressed with my experience but rejected me as I was "too senior" for the role.
