I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Yandex (Moscow, Moskva) in Nov 2018
Interview
Experience with yandex.taxi. Interviews with hr and line manager were ok, but final interview with head of department, line manager and hr was really surprising and alerting. Head came to the room and immediately said that he didn’t read my CV, of course, so he was wondering whether I came alone or with some useful job skills O_o ok, maybe it was stress interview, I though. I told about my experience, while he was messaging and looking in his phone. Then he asked me to draw working process on the desk, still not looking up me. He had answered call without any sorries and talked with his friend for several minutes when I was telling my story.
Then he asked me how would I develop their new product. I asked some questions about product. He depreciatingly said to the line (hiring) manager who was his direct something like “hey you, tell her about product” (still not stopping messaging:) At that moment I realized it was not stress interview, it was common style of communication in Yandex.Taxi.
I have never seen top manager with such lack of respect to the team and other people. He asked nothing besides typical questions during the interview and seemed not interested in finding professional person for his team.
I would recommend to the applicants to be very attentive to the culture fit with Yandex.taxi and head of department, because I suspect lack of respectful healthy environment in this company. Maybe it’s one of the reasons of very high yandex.taxi turnover?
After 3-4 weeks hr called me and said that I was not good with the case(about product), so they were not ready to make an offer. I’m happy I was good enough in solving business cases for Big3, which offer I got the same time.

HR interview - fairly basic, questions about previous experience,
take home case (how would you improve certain scenario / user journey),
presentation of the take home case with the hiring manager and the team lead
then the last case with the Y.do CEO

Question 1
What is the difference between product and project manager
The interview was smooth, but the technical questions required much more qualifications compared to the job title and salary. Hr was nice but asked too many personal questions, including mariagge plans and so on, weird
