I went through three interview rounds for the Head of Brand and Communications position at Yettel Magyarország, including conversations with senior leaders. The discussions were professional and constructive, and I genuinely appreciated the opportunity to share my experience and ideas.
However, after investing significant time and preparation across several weeks, I never received any feedback or closure — not even a short email or message. For a company that emphasizes transparency and people-first values, this complete silence felt disrespectful and unprofessional.
Senior-level candidates also deserve timely communication, even if the decision is negative. Clear feedback not only reflects well on the employer brand but also maintains the respect of professionals who could be future partners or customers. Unfortunately, in this case, the experience fell far short of what I would expect from a brand of Yettel’s caliber.
