A chat and then tech interview I had interviewed in the past and then declined because I didn’t want to take this offer. I got a Another one. Overall thruster a good company
I interviewed at Yuga Labs (Miami, FL) in Aug 2023
Interview
The process was a series of video interviews that lasted an entire week. It took about 6 hours in total to complete all of the interviews. First, mid week, was I flaked on/rescheduled by the Engineering manager and then was completely ghosted after doing these interviews. I even sent a follow up email to ask for feedback and was ignored. in the end, I’m glad I didn’t end up working for a company who doesn’t conduct their interview process in a professional manner.

Question 1
There were almost no technical questions. I was asked about scenarios in which I would need to perform testing with little to no time and asked how I would approach tasks if documentation or procedures didn’t exist yet.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Yuga Labs
Interview
One of the most frustrating interview processes I've ever been through.
After the first initial call with an internal recruiter, I was handed off to another recruiter in training. 2 interviews turned into 3, into 4, into 5. At the end, a surprise interview was added with the new CTO.
A couple red flags:
- Few technical questions were asked, almost all behavior related.
- One interview just had a random person that sat in the background with no facial expressions, didn't ask any questions, just sat there to make things awkward.
- Web2 CTO trying to interview for a web3 position was interesting.
- I didn't interview with anyone that actually owned an NFT, let alone a Yuga asset.
