I was recently contacted by this company regarding a position for employment. After several calls back and forth, I was eventually turned down for the position. My biggest gripe was the fact that the HR representative could have saved me the several calls by asking me qualifying questions. I was asked on the final call if I had SolidWorx experience. I explained that I didn't, but I did have AutoCAD experience. The woman told me that nobody uses AutoCAD and ended the conversation. The most disappointing part is that there is nothing on the job description stating this as a prerequisite! This was the most unprofessional experience I've ever dealt with career-wise. I already have a decent job, but I was looking for something a little closer to home and school. Instead, I wasted my break times trying to get the ball rolling. For all she knows, she just passed off the best thing that could have happened to her company. That is what is wrong with a lot employers, they just don't know how to hire.
