      Junior Product Manager Interview

      19 Sept 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at ZapLabs in May 2017

      Interview

The first was a basic and easy phone screen with the HR person. That was followed by a Skype interview where I was asked about my internship experiences, a few behavioral questions and why I'm interested in a Product Manager position. I was sent an email a few days later saying they want me to come on site for a final round interview. However, a few days later, I was told they are no longer hiring for the position. Very fishy though because I saw their job posting on LinkedIn a week later. Didn't check in detail but it could've been a role for a different team and that the role I applied for was for a particular team that wasn't interested in hiring anymore.
