I had an initial screening call with the internal recruiter, which was fairly straightforward. I then interviewed with a Head of department and finally the COO.
This was one of the most negative interview experiences I have had all year - the COO seemed totally uninterested in the conversation, and was robotic and uninspiring to speak to.He asked rather invasive and undermining questions about gaps in employment and reasons for redundancy (which, during Covid I find to be totally insensitive). I felt I was asked generic interview questions, and not given any real opportunity to demonstrate my skills or aptitude related to the job description.
Taking advantage of young people struggling in the current job market is totally unacceptable. Judging by other reviews on here, you seriously need to improve your candidate experience.
