When I first heard about Zerin Business Consulting, I was very careful about what type of business it was especially since it was in sales and marketing. However, I believed the over hyped reviews on Glassdoor and took the chance of going to the first interview just for the experience. When I went there, it was a small office on the top floor of the building. The interview was very short with really general easy questions like "What are your strengths and weaknesses?" and "What are your hobbies and interests?" Based on the number of applicants they were interviewing, I didn't expect a call back but I was wrong and got a call that afternoon to do a job shadow. One thing that really struck me out with the initial interview was that the manager did not give me the opportunity to ask questions about the job as I was very eager about what I would be doing on a day to day basis. Come to think of it, when I did more research it was a door to door sales job for Verizon FiOS! They were very deceptive about it from the very beginning, were not specific about any job tasks and used general terms like "direct marketing" and "provide excellent customer service to accounts." I did thorough research about the company, looked at past people who worked there on LinkedIn (who had only worked there for 2 months and stated that they did door to door sales) and did not see much of what they do professionally on their Facebook page besides going out to dinner and drinking (which is not bad at all) but its important to also see through their social media what they do for their client which is Verizon FiOS. The job shadow would have been for 7 hours going on from 1:30-8:00pm just watching current Junior Executives go door to door selling Verizon FiOS. I'm sorry but I do not want to waste that precious time in my life when I could be doing more productive things. Thank god I emailed the HR manager in time to decline the 2nd job interview/shadow. If I hadn't done that, I would have wasted an entire day on gas and time watching someone else go door to door in the freezing cold. This company lies and is very deceptive from the beginning even when on their homepage they claim "their mission is to maintain the highest levels of standards and integrity." Using false reviews to hype up their company is not the way to do it.

Two parts, must pass the first part to second a second interview. Very relaxed, friendly people. Second part of the interview process is more detailed than the first, all major questions will be answered then.
