      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Zipwhip (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2017

      Interview

Three sessions: - design with four engineers, moderately difficult question with with lots of open end - personality session with two junior engineers - design discussion with two very senior engineers Nothing too complex, just verifying that I knew what I implied that I knew and that we would all get along on a personal level. The interview seemed to go well (and was indicated as such to my recruiter) but after a few weeks the company stopped responding to email or phone. Yes, I was ghosted by a company, turned out to be quite a waste of time.

      Interview

Worst nightmare ever.... Please dont waste time on interviewing with this company. I did quite well in the interview and the response i got was terrible. I might have been happy if they said me that i got selected or rejected. But they said that they are looking for more senior level roles and i am not a fit for that , then why on earth , they invited me? Waste of time and continuous follow up emails and texts. Do anything other than interviewing here. I am sure Zipwhip misses lot of good candidates.

This is not the type of interview experience that we aim to provide for applicants, and it's certainly a failure on our part. We are analyzing our overall processes and also what went wrong in your specific scenario so that we can avoid this in the future. Thank you for sharing your candid feedback with us.
